Hong Kong, August 5, 2020 - C&T has been honored with the Caring Company Award 2019/20 by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) in recognition of the Group’s concerted effort in developing a sustainable society and shouldering corporate social responsibility for the sixth successive year.

Launched by HKCSS in 2002, the Caring Company Scheme aims to foster strategic partnerships between the business and social services sectors to promote good corporate citizenship and create a more inclusive society.

In support of the Group’s commitment to building a cohesive society by actively engaging in volunteer services and charitable activities, C&T employees contributed over two hundred volunteering hours in last year’s activities such as the Sower Action marathon, Breast Health charity walk, HKMSSAC elderly home visit, beach cleaning and more. Yet, C&T cares about the well-being and health of the colleagues and organized a variety of staff activities during the year, including the annual movie show, festive parties and team building activities to promote proper work-life balance.

C&T will continue to uphold the sustainable development of society and the well-being of the colleagues through integrating sustainability ideas into the corporate’s operation.
