Hong Kong, July 22, 2020 - C&T has been awarded Certificate of Merit in the HSBC Living Business ESG Awards for the consecutive year, recognizing the Group’s excellent sustainability practices during 2019.

Launched in 2004, the HSBC Living Business has been helping enterprises in Hong Kong to become more competitive and productive by incorporating socially and environmentally sustainable practices into their business operations. The program also serves as an interactive platform for local businesses to acquire knowledge and share experience in corporate sustainability. HSBC Living Business 2019 extended the efforts of HSBC with the collaboration of Business Environment Council of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Council of Social Service.

In the past year, C&T has been actively engaging in different sustainability initiatives and green activities, such as Upcycling Workshops, Barter Trade, Vegetarian Day, Charity Marathon and more. Despite the COVID-19 this year, C&T will continue to incorporate sustainability ideas into the corporate’s operations in the aspects of environment, community and governance and foster sustainable development of the enterprise itself and the society.
