Hong Kong, April 20, 2023 - C&T has been honored with the Certificate of Merit from the Hong Kong Awards for Environmental Excellence (HKAEE) 2021 under the Servicing and Trading sector and Hong Kong Green Organization recognition. The accolades commend the Group for its green management practices and contributions to environmental protection.

HKAEE is led by the Environmental Campaign Committee, Environment and Ecology Bureau, and major business chambers in Hong Kong. The awards aim to encourage organizations to implement environmental management and to recognize organizations with excellent performance in that aspect. The award winners have gone through a rigorous and comprehensive assessment process by the HKAEE committee, which has built the award scheme’s well-regarded reputation and leadership in the field of environmental protection over the years.

The award presentation ceremony was held in a hybrid format on February 20, 2022 at Hong Kong Convention Exhibition Centre and Mr. Tse Chin-wan, Secretary for Environment and Ecology of HKSAR, was one of the officiating guests. The HKAEE award recognition reaffirms C&T’s commitment to acting as an industry advocate for environmental and social responsibilities. With the enriched green engagement program and the sustainability guidebook released this year, employees from different business sections of the Group are joining hands to extend C&T’s impact on building a sustainable green society together.
