Hong Kong, March 15, 2023 - C&T invited the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Hong Kong Branch for a networking visit to the Cyberport digital hub on March 10, providing an opportunity for CIPS members to explore the application of technology in their business operations.

In this first post-COVID onsite activity of the institute, procurement and supply chain practitioners from aviation, utility, catering and other sectors took the chance to meet with the Cyberport startups working on industry-disruptive projects and tour the Cyberport IT Street to experience technologies in action.

During the sharing hosted by Cyberport’s Ecosystem team at Smart-Space FinTech, the guests learned more about the tech hub and its role in tech incubation and innovation. The invited startups delivered insightful presentations on blockchain integration for supply chain due diligence and integrated fulfillment center solutions for e-commerce. C&T was happy to share insights into business sustainability with compliance-driven e-procurement.

During the walking tour around the Cyberport hub, the delegation was introduced to smart-living technologies being integrated into daily lives including food services, art and more.

Through various collaboration activities with Cyberport and professional associations, C&T hopes to continue its effort to promote IT adoption and digital transformation to different industries in the future.
