Hong Kong, January 20, 2021 - C&T was honored with the Social Capital Builder Award 2020 by the Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) of the Labour and Welfare Bureau, recognizing the Group’s contribution to the development of social capital in Hong Kong.

CIIF has organized the biennial Social Capital Builder Awards program since 2012 to accord recognition to individuals, corporates and organizations contributing to the development of social capital in Hong Kong, providing an opportunity for various sectors of the community to witness and share their outstanding achievements.

With a vision to progress and prosper with the community, C&T is committed to facilitating the development of social capital in Hong Kong through several dimensions, including mutual-help and reciprocity, trust and solidarity, information and communication, social cohesion and inclusion, social networking and participation. Over the past years, C&T has been joining hands with various NGOs and business partners to form a strong network, involving hundreds of volunteers to participate in a diverse range of activities, such as the Mid-Autumn elderly visit with HKMSSAC, lunch box charity sale with Oxfam, MSF Day, charity run with Ameyokocho and more. In the future, C&T will stay devoted to building a cohesive, inclusive and harmonious society with sustainable CSR initiatives.
