Hong Kong, November 4, 2020 - C&T has received Certificate of Merit in the Hong Kong Smoke-free Leading Company Awards 2019 organized by the Hong Kong Council on Smoking and Health (COSH), recognizing the Group’s strong commitment in promoting a smoke-free culture in the office environment.

COSH has organized the Hong Kong Smoke-free Leading Company Awards since 2011, aiming to encourage all industries to fulfill social responsibility by promoting smoke-free culture and smoking cessation to their employees, customers, the general public and other stakeholders on a continuous basis for a smoke-free Hong Kong.

Employees’ health is one of the top priorities of C&T and hence a series of sustainable policies has been implemented to encourage employees to quit smoking and lead a smoke-free life, including displaying smoke-free promotion signage around the office, sharing smoke-free and smoking cessation related information on social media, supplying refreshments and fruits for colleagues to develop healthy habits, participating in World No Tobacco Day activities and more. The management team also take the lead to promote smoking cessation and support the smoke-free culture. C&T will continue to make the utmost effort to promote a smoke-free corporate culture and protect the health of employees.
