Supporting diverse businesses: Platinum HRM centralizes HR management for theme park and life insurance brands

Hong Kong, February 21, 2018 - Haichang Ocean Park and Allianz Life Insurance Co., Ltd. recently signed contracts with Platinum HRM, flagship human resources management (HRM) software of C&T, to unify the human resources management processes of the two major brands in China and manage their regional branches in different provinces through the one-stop HR management solution of Platinum.

Listed as a top-ten theme park in the world, Haichang Ocean Park is the largest developer and operator of marine theme parks in China. Currently, Haichang operates theme parks in Qingdao, Chengdu and Tianjin with annual visitor arrivals of 12 million. Having more than 4,000 employees, Haichang needs an integrated HR system to manage payrolls and workflows. Platinum’s one-stop HR management platform acts as a central repository for HR data and systemizes related workflows for all branches, thus to pave the way for Haichang's comprehensive HR information management and support Haichang to establish itself as China’s largest hospitality and tourism brand with the marine theme.

Allianz Life Insurance Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Allianz Insurance Group (Allianz SE) and China CITIC Trust Co., Ltd. (CITIC Trust). Its diversified business covers life insurance, pension, investment and other fields. Rooted in China for more than 10 years, Allianz has eight provincial branches including Shanghai, Guangdong and Zhejiang and provides professional insurance products and services for clients in over 40 cities. Platinum will deploy four core modules, namely HRM (human resource management), ATS (attendance tracking system), ESS (employee self-service) and mobile (mobile application), for more than 1,000 employees at Allianz. The reduction in approval processes on one hand grants autonomy to employees and makes the organizational structure more compact, and on the other hand smooths the management flow.

With continuous expansion of the two leading brands in China, it is foreseen that the organizational structure will become more complicated; meanwhile, employees have more diverse needs and prefer higher autonomy in HR management. Platinum will innovate and launch different modules persistently to ensure the service quality and efficiency.
