Hong Kong, February 13, 2019 – C&T has been honored with the Caring Company Award for the fifth consecutive year by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS) in recognition of the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility with continued efforts to improve the well-being of the community, employees and environment.

Established in 1947, HKCSS is a federation of non-government social service agencies of Hong Kong with the aim to plan and coordinate large scale relief works and social welfare. Today HKCSS represents more than 470 agency members, providing quality social welfare services through their 3,000 operating units in Hong Kong.

C&T is committed to maintaining a sustainable social environment and being a socially responsible corporate citizen. In order to help people in need to lead a better life and promote environmental protection, over the years C&T has participated in different CSR activities, including last year’s Fair Trade chocolate storytelling workshop, natural scrub workshop, Fu Hong walkathon, elderly home visit, charity run, etc. 

On the other hand, the Group held a variety of staff activities, such as the weekend hikes, coffee tasting breaks, regular fruit distribution and annual movie show, to improve the well-being of colleagues and promote work-life balance.

The award means a lot to C&T, recognizing the company’s extensive involvement in the society and continuous commitment to building a better world.
