Hong Kong, February 16, 2022 - Leading Hong Kong-listed information technology (IT) software and service company, Computer And Technologies Holdings Limited (C&T or the Group, SEHK 00046) announced today that Computer And Technologies Solutions Limited (C&T Solutions), a subsidiary of the Group, has been awarded in all three major category groups under the Standing Offer Agreement for Quality Professional Services 5 (SOA-QPS5) by the HKSAR Government. C&T Solutions would provide IT professional services for Government organizations under a contract period of 48 months starting from January 31, 2022.

All along an effective means to cope with the Government's large demand for IT professional services, the Standing Offer Agreement for Quality Professional Services (SOA-QPS) scheme since 2005 provides a promising business prospect for the IT industry. Replacement of SOA-QPS4 expiring on January 30, 2022, SOA-QPS5 has reformed the service categories for Government organizations to precisely source services from an expanded list of 70 quality contractors to fulfill its development of the next-generation digital government through projects amounting to over $3 billion within the upcoming four years. A long-term contractor of SOA-QPS since the scheme’s launch, C&T Solutions holds a proven track record of delivering quality IT services with strong software development competence. Solely in the July 2017 - January 2022 term of SOA-QPS4, C&T Solutions was engaged in 174 diverse projects for different Government bureaux and departments. Setting off with SOA-QPS5, C&T Solutions will continue its contribution to the Government’s public services through the three awarded categories:

• Category A Major Group: pre-implementation, program/project management services, ongoing services, implementation and combined system development services;
• Category B: information security, privacy assessment and independent testing services;
• Category C Major Group: deployment and maintenance of common services.

Despite the reform of the service categories and substantial increase of contractors joining SOA-QPS5, C&T Solutions is one of the only four service providers awarded in all the three major category groups, demonstrating the Government’s recognition of C&T Solutions’ performance in SOA-QPS4 and integration of outstanding program management, technical expertise, taskforce qualification and innovation.
